Volunteer Patrol

Overview

Program Description: Volunteer Patrollers are an extra set of trained eyes and ears for the neighbourhood. Patrollers will walk or bike the neighbourhood, and interact with the community on emerging or current concerns. This program provides volunteers with training to identify suspicious and/or criminal activity in a safe, non-confrontational manner. Training topics include, but are not limited to: Overdose Awareness and Naloxone administration, Personal safety and De-Escalation, report writing and others. The Volunteer Patrol program includes: Foot, Bike and Pooch Patrol.
